According to the Free Press Journal, after watching the film, Aamir Khan interacted with the paparazzi and praised the movie along with Riddhima’s performance. He said, “Riddhima ki pehle film hai. Bahot badhiya kaam kiya hai. Ranbir se better kiya hai (This is Riddhima’s first film. She has done a great job. She’s better than Ranbir).” He went on to add, “Bahot maza aaya mujhe (I enjoyed it a lot). So, my very best wishes to the entire team, all the very best, well done guys.“

With nearly two decades of experience in the industry, Ranbir offered Riddhima some guidance before she began filming. Sharing his advice, she said, “I spoke to Ranbir before starting. His biggest advice was to stay honest in front of the camera. He told me to trust my instincts and just live the character rather than perform it, and that really stayed with me.”
