Actress Ansiba Hassan‘s complaint against actor Tini Tom has entered a new twist, with police stating that further action will be taken only after consulting senior officials.According to Asianet News reports the Kadavanthra Police forwarded Ansiba’s statement to higher authorities including the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP). Officials are expected to review the matter before deciding on the next course of action.Police are also likely to seek approval from senior officers before recording the statement of actress Neena Kurup as part of the inquiry.The development comes days after Ansiba lodged a formal complaint against Tiny Tom over a series of allegations.

Ansiba has made it clear that she is prepared to pursue legal remedies if police do not register a case based on her complaint.In her petition, the actress alleged that Tini Tom repeatedly subjected her to cyber harassment. She further claimed that communal remarks were directed against her and that her family had also been targeted.According to Ansiba, the actor’s conduct amounted to an insult to womanhood. She has urged authorities to take appropriate action on the matter. The actress maintained that the allegations are serious and deserve a thorough investigation.
AMMA sponsorship dispute sparks controversy
The dispute is believed to have started from disagreements within AMMA regarding sponsorship arrangements for the organization’s family gathering held on February 14.Several members of the executive committee, including Ansiba, reportedly objected to a religious institution sponsoring an AMMA programme.

Following the event, Ansiba stepped down from her position as Joint Secretary of AMMA. At the time, AMMA President Shweta Menon stated that the resignation was due to personal reasons and professional commitments.However Ansiba later revealed that Tiny Tom was the main reason behind her decision to quit the post.

Ansiba has accused Tiny Tom of spreading false stories about her and creating negative narratives involving people she interacted with. She also alleged that rumours were circulated claiming she was attempting to convert people to another religion. Apart from her complaint against Tini Tom, Ansiba has submitted another petition to the Chief Minister and the Director General of Police (DGP).The complaint reportedly names Thrippunithura Sub-Inspector Reshma and actress Lakshmi Priya. Reports suggest that the Chief Minister forwarded the matter to the State Police Chief for further examination.

Earlier, Ansiba stated that the issue extended beyond a personal dispute and affected wider social harmony.As quoted by Asianet News, Ansiba said, “He has wronged a secular state like Kerala. When someone has nothing else to use for a personal vendetta, they try to exploit the fact that my name is Ansiba Hassan and spread a false message in society. People of Kerala have understood the truth. He must face punishment for what he has done.”The actress also opened up about her determination to continue pursuing the complaint through legal channels.With police awaiting directions from senior officials, attention is now on what action authorities will take in the coming days.On the work front, Ansiba Hassan’s recent outing is ‘Drishyam 3’.
