Tom Holland knew about the Avengers character long before the studios announced it to the fans. “I think I hung up the phone and said [to Zendaya], ‘Downey is coming back,’” the actor admitted in an interview with Cinemania, before adding, “[Robert and I] just have casual catch-ups every now and then. He called and told me. It’s really exciting.”However, the actor has no idea about the film’s structure and design—and no one from the studios dared to tell him. “I have a reputation for spoiling certain things, and I think the studio is keeping me from the juicy details…,” he confessed. “When I do get to grace that set, I am so curious what does that mean for Peter [Parker] and how does that work,” he said about his character, expressing the excitement for the plot that the future holds.
