The New India Assurance Company Limited has invited applications for 550 apprentice posts under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). The online application process began on June 23 and will remain open till July 6. The online examination is scheduled to be held on July 12.The apprenticeship is for one year, and selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 12,300. The company clarified that this is an apprenticeship programme and not a regular job or contract employment. Candidates must be Indian citizens and graduates in any discipline from a recognised university. They should have completed their graduation between January 1, 2022 and June 1, 2026. Those who have previously undergone apprenticeship training or have one year or more of work experience after graduation are not eligible to apply.Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age as on June 1, 2026. Age relaxation for reserved categories will be provided as per Government of India guidelines.The company has announced state-wise vacancies, with Maharashtra having the highest number of seats at 138, followed by Tamil Nadu (46), Delhi (37), Gujarat (35) and Kerala (30). The number of training seats is tentative and may change depending on the company’s requirements.The selection process will include an online objective examination carrying 100 marks. The test will have sections on General and Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude, and Computer Knowledge. Candidates shortlisted from the written examination will be called for document verification and a regional language test, where applicable.

- After applying on the NATS portal, log in to the BFSI SSC portal
- Fill in the application form with your personal details, NATS enrolment number, educational qualifications and preferred state
- Upload the required documents, including your photograph and graduation certificate
- Pay the application fee online and submit the application
- Download and keep a copy of the submitted application form for future reference.
The application fee is Rs 944 for General, EWS and OBC male candidates, Rs 708 for General, EWS and OBC female candidates, and Rs 236 for SC, ST and PwBD candidates, including GST.Applicants are advised to check the eligibility conditions mentioned in the official notification carefully before submitting their applications, as incomplete or ineligible applications will be rejected.
