The actress, while talking to Mid Day, opened up about how she once was naive enough to apologize to Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel for something. Looking back to her days while filming for ‘Kaho Na Pyaar Hai’, she shared that “We were all very young at that time, and we felt like we ruled the world.”The actress had already been a popular and established name in the industry and had quite a lot of fans across the world. She shared that during the shoot, when the team arrived at the Singapore airport, a lot of her fans were waiting for her, which made her feel bad for Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel, who were playing the leads in the film. She added that she ended up apologizing to them and told them, “You both are the leads, and when the movie releases, people won’t look at me.”She also looked back on the days with a sense of fondness and opened up about how much she misses those days of her life. “I think we were too naive. I also remember we were eating on the bus in New Zealand because we were exhausted after the shoot. I just miss those days”, she added.

Tannaz Irani on working on ‘Margao Files’
The actress recently starred in the series ‘Margao Files’, playing the role of a morally grey and corrupt police officer with a little flair for comedy. Starring alongside Zeenat Aman, Shilpa Shinde, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, and many others was quite an experience for her.Not only that but she also revealed that one of the biggest inspirations behind her role in the show was Ranveer Singh. Providing more context she added, “I wanted to play it a little like the characters you see in Rohit Shetty films. I based my performance on Ranveer Singh because I absolutely loved the way he was in Simmba. I wanted to portray the character as someone relatable to today’s generation.”‘Margao Files’ was filmed all the way back in 2022; however, it has only recently made it to OTT platforms. Fans will be able to watch the web series on WAVES and TATA Play Binge.
