I called my sister. I thought at least she would support me. She said they are saying no. Everyone said no.” She explained that her parents’ fears came from a place of concern rather than opposition. “You will only understand when you become a parent. That fear is there, and you can’t help it. They feel my baby is going out there in the world. The world is so huge. There will be devils, there will be evil people.” Despite the resistance, she was determined to chase her dream, saying she never wanted to live with regrets. She will be proud of me.”
