Tom Holland, who has earned a reputation for accidentally revealing Marvel secrets, has once again sent fans into a spiral after offering a cryptic response during a recent interview, sparking fresh rumours about a potential fifth Spider-Man film.The actor, was recently put through a rapid-fire round of questions by French outlet HugoDecrypte. When asked whether he would return for a fifth Spider-Man film “without hesitation,” Holland chose not to answer.Instead, the 30-year-old simply replied, “Pass”, making it the only question he skipped during the segment.His reaction has now gone viral online, with many Marvel fans interpreting the response as a possible indication that future plans for Spider-Man are already in place. The speculation also comes shortly after Holland revealed that conversations about eventually handing over the iconic superhero mantle have been ongoing since ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’.

Speaking on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, the actor said, “There’s a whole plan that we have been working on for, I would say, since we finished Spider-Man: No Way Home…it’s laid out. It’s gonna change for sure, but I have a really clear vision to the passing on of the baton, and I think it’s really exciting.”Although Holland confirmed that there is a long-term roadmap for Spider-Man’s future, he also made it clear to GQ saying, “I would love to pass the baton on, but I haven’t achieved that yet … I think the truth is that playing Spider-Man has been the joy of my life. I now kind of stand on the plinth of like, I’ll do it for as long as they’ll have me.”
Tom Holland to appear in ‘Avengers: Doomsday ‘?
Holland has portrayed Peter Parker since 2016’s ‘Captain America: Civil War’. He has since gone on to play the role in four ‘Spider-Man’ films and also made appearances in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and ‘Avengers: Endgame’. He is also rumoured to make a special appearance in the upcoming ‘Avengers: Doomsday’.
