The festive Bonalu brought the Telugu film stars close to their fans in Hyderabad. As the celebrations drew to a close, popular actors and filmmakers came out to join in the traditional festivities. Their presence turned the temple visits and street celebrations into memorable moments for the crowds gathered in the Old City.
Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Vijay Deverakonda visit Lal Darwaza for Bonalu
‘Arjun Reddy‘ duo Sandeep Reddy Vanga and Vijay Deverakonda were among the celebrities who attended the Bonalu celebrations at Lal Darwaza. As per Hindustan Times, the duo visited the Mahankali temple and interacted with fans who gathered to see them. Vijay Deverakonda also addressed the crowd and spoke about his visit to the temple. “Happy Bonalu to all. This is the first time I have come to offer prayers to the Goddess. I came along with director Sandeep, and his production house is named Bhadrakali. I sought the blessings of the Goddess and prayed that all your wishes would be fulfilled, and I also prayed for my wishes. I had a good darshan,” he said. Vijay Deverakonda’s brother Anand Deverakonda also accompanied them during the visit. The actor’s interaction with fans added to the festive mood.
Faria Abdullah dances with fans at Hyderabad Bonalu celebrations
Actress Faria Abdullah also became part of the celebrations at the Sri Mahankaleshwara temple in Miralam Mandi. Dressed in a traditional pattu half saree and a matching turban, she joined devotees and was seen dancing to energetic dappu beats. Videos from the celebrations showed fans cheering as Faria joined in the festivities, while a performer dressed as Pothuraju danced alongside her. Several other Telugu celebs such as Vaishnavi Chaitanya and Manchu Manoj were also spotted visiting the temples and participating in the festivities. Bonalu, one of Telangana’s most important festivals, once again brought together celebrities and the public in a lively display of devotion and tradition.
