He requested the money to pay legal fees and to fund his commissary account for basic hygiene products.A statement from the filing made by the fiduciaries read, “No distribution should be made until the court resolves. Nick’s sense of urgency is real, but it did not arise in a vacuum. It arises from the deaths of his parents, the very settlers of the Trust at issue, and Nick is presently accused of causing those deaths.” The reports revealed that if the trust fund is not distributed to Nick, it will be distributed equally between Rob Reiner’s other two children, Jake and Romy.Nick has maintained that he deserves access to the trust fund that was set up in his name. According to the outlet, a statement from his legal representative said, “The slayer statute requires a determination, not a mere accusation. Nick is presumed innocent and has been convicted of nothing.”Reiner is currently being held at the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in Los Angeles.
