Taking to his Instagram account, Nelson shared a major health update months after going on break due to unspecified health issues. The 62-year-old started his post by saying in a video, “There’s been a lot of speculation as to what’s wrong with me; I know that much. My phone’s blown up 20 times over with people asking what’s wrong with me.”He added that he felt the need to be honest and open with everyone amid the ongoing rumours. He added, “I’m not going to go into it all now, and I will deep dive into it at a later date so you can hear the full story. I’ll tell you this: I was minding my own business, and then it was discovered I had a brain tumour. I was shocked; my world was turned upside down. It was a shock to me and close family and friends, and you can imagine quite literally my head was all over the place.

Trevor Nelson confirms that he is recovering

While the radio host did not share many details about his diagnosis, he confirmed that he is on the road to recovery after the surgery. He shared that he has “been at home, recuperating, recovering, resting, and getting some post-op treatment as well.” He further commented, “I feel energized and almost back to myself. Yes, I’ve had a really serious situation, but I’ve come out the other side at this point, and I feel great. I feel raring to go, and I feel in good health.” He concluded the video by saying he has been feeling great after the surgery and is back to spending time with family and doing what he loves, which includes golfing and going to the gym.He added a caption along with the video, which read, “I’m feeling good. I will be back to work very soon. To radio first and later to my DJ gigs. Thank you for all your messages, your love, and your support.”
