The action drama registered a better performance on its second day after opening with Rs 15.30 crore in India net collections.According to Sacnilk, ‘Irumudi’ earned an estimated India net of Rs 16.10 crore on Day 2. The movie was screened across 2,943 shows. The latest collection represents a 5.2% increase from the previous day’s earnings. The film had recorded an overall occupancy of 76.9% on Friday. Its occupancy stood at 75.8% on Saturday.

India net collection crosses Rs 31 crore

The latest numbers have taken ‘Irumudi’ to an India net collection of Rs 31.40 crore. Its total India gross collection currently stands at Rs 36.45 crore.‘Irumudi’earned approximately Rs 5 crore from international territories. This has taken its overseas gross collection to Rs 11 crore. With its domestic and overseas earnings combined, ‘Irumudi’ has now recorded a worldwide gross of Rs 47.45 crore.

Telugu version drives day 2 earnings

The Telugu version registered an overall occupancy of 78.54% on Saturday. Morning shows recorded 63% occupancy. The figure increased to 80% during afternoon screenings. Evening shows registered 82.85% occupancy. Night shows witnessed the highest turnout with occupancy reaching 88.31%. The Tamil version recorded an overall occupancy of 15%.

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana lead collections

‘Irumudi’ recorded a Day 2 India gross of Rs 18.70 crore. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were the biggest contributors to the day’s earnings, generating Rs 15.75 crore.Karnataka added Rs 2 crore to the gross collection. Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 43 lakh. The rest of India accounted for another Rs 50 lakh. Kerala contributed Rs 2 lakh.
