Suchitra Mohanlal has opened up about Pranav Mohanlal’s life away from the spotlight. Mohanlal’s wife spoke about his current travel plans and his approach to choosing movies.According to Suchitra Mohanlal, Pranav Mohanlal is currently in Chennai. He is expected to travel to London shortly. She also revealed that her son does not have a definite schedule for his return.Suchitra Mohanlal said his plans could change depending on how long he wants to stay abroad. She explained that he sometimes travels without fixing a return date in advance.“He is in Chennai now. He will be leaving for London the next day. He said there is some music festival or something happening there. When I asked him when he would return, he said he didn’t know. He said it might be two months or even longer. He takes a one-way ticket, you know. (Laughs.) That’s how he travels. He doesn’t know when he will return,”she said in a chat with Can Media.

Pranav Mohanlal has committed to another movie

The actor’s mother also revealed that Pranav Mohanlal has agreed to work on another movie. However, she admitted that she does not know the title or other details about the project.Suchitra Mohanlal said she no longer closely follows her son’s professional decisions. “I came to know that he has committed to a new movie. I don’t know which one. I don’t look into these things anymore.”

Suchitra Mohanlal was unaware of ‘Dies Irae’

Suchitra Mohanlal also revealed that she did not know about Pranav Mohanlal’s association with ‘Dies Irae’ when the project came together. The movie brought Pranav Mohanlal and filmmaker Rahul Sadasivan together. However, Suchitra Mohanlal said she was unaware of how the actor and director first connected.“I didn’t even know about ‘Dies Irae’. I don’t even know how he connected with Rahul. It’s time for him to handle all these things himself,”she said.

Pranav Mohanlal has developed a reputation for choosing projects at his own pace.
