The late Dolly Parton dedicated almost 70 years of her life to the entertainment industry. With more than 3000 song credits under her banner, the beloved country legend was one of the biggest and most influential forces in the music industry. With a career spanning decades, the star also earned numerous awards and honours.Over the course of her career, she was nominated for a Grammy Award more than 55 times and won 11, along with 15 CMT Awards, 24 BMI Awards, 13 Academy of Country Music Awards, and 10 awards from the Country Music Association. She was also inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and received multiple other honours over the course of her career.Here is a brief look at all of her achievements since she started singing in 1956.
