‘Don’t Trouble The Trouble’ gets mixed reactions
The first reactions from moviegoers have ranged from criticism to strong appreciation. One X user gave the film two stars and described it as a disappointing watch despite finding potential in its central idea. The viewer wrote, “#DontTroubleTheTrouble A Troublesome Watch! A concept with potential is narrated in such a boring way that it ends up being neither engaging nor entertaining. There is some heart in places, especially towards the end, but when the core plot is held back until the final 20 minutes, everything leading up to it needs to keep you invested, and this very slow paced narration rarely does. The director’s writing and execution often feel amateurish and oddly childish. Fahadh Faasil tries, but there’s only so much he can do with the material, while his dubbing feels out of place at times. Not a memorable Telugu lead debut for him. Boring! Rating: 2/5.”
