Michael B. Jordan’s former Los Angeles residence has returned to the real estate market, and the property now carries an asking price of $14 million. Located along Woodrow Wilson Drive in Upper Nichols Canyon’s well-known celebrity enclave, the home was originally designed in 1997 by architect Jeffrey Mills and sits on roughly an acre of private land. Jordan bought the Hollywood Hills property in an off-market deal in September 2019 for $5.8 million. He later sold it in May 2022 for $6.95 million. Since then, the residence has undergone a major redesign by Los Angeles-based design studio Ome Dezin, which acquired the property in 2025.

A secluded Hollywood Hills setting

Tucked behind gates on a private stretch of Upper Nichols Canyon, the residence combines its hillside location with a sense of seclusion. The property spans about 4,900 square feet and was designed to balance expansive spaces with a more intimate feel. Its original architecture by Jeffrey Mills dates to 1997, while the more recent interiors and outdoor spaces reflect the work carried out after Jordan sold the property.

A home redesigned around natural materials

The updated interiors bring together concrete, timber, glass and stone, creating a contemporary look while retaining elements of the original structure. The redesign was undertaken by Joelle Hutner and Jesse Rudolph of Ome Dezin and took roughly a year and a half. The main living area features exposed beams, clerestory windows and an asymmetrical brushed-stainless-steel fireplace. The dining area has an integrated wet bar, while a library includes a built-in L-shaped sofa.

A kitchen made for entertaining

The kitchen is one of the standout spaces in the redesigned home. It features a La Cornue range, a professional pizza oven and a natural-stone backsplash. The property also includes a separate butler’s pantry, while another flexible room can function as a library or screening room, giving the home spaces suited to both everyday living and entertaining.

Bedrooms and marble bathrooms

The current residence is presented as a four-bedroom home. The primary suite includes a fireplace, dressing room and private terrace, while the primary bathroom features a freestanding marble bathtub and a shower finished in blue-and-white marble. A ground-floor guest suite opens toward the pool and gardens. Two additional guest bedrooms have their own bathrooms, balconies and walk-in closets.

Pool, spa and the mirrored sauna

The outdoor area has been significantly reworked since Jordan’s ownership. Along with the swimming pool and spa, the grounds now feature a striking mirrored sauna pavilion. The cube-like structure was inspired by Doug Aitken’s Mirage installation and is designed to reflect the surrounding landscape. The pavilion contains a sauna and a chartreuse-tiled bathroom. The grounds also include a fire-pit lounge, outdoor kitchen and tiered waterfall, adding several spaces for outdoor entertaining and relaxation.

From Michael B. Jordan’s home to a $14 million listing

Jordan’s time at the property lasted from 2019 to 2022, when he sold it for $6.95 million. After another change in ownership and an extensive redesign, the former actor-owned residence is now being offered for $14 million. The current listing is being handled by Charles Derenne, Silke Fernald and Dominique Madden of the ACME Team at SERHANT.
