Actor – producer Fahadh Faasil has opened up about the success of ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ and the reported Rs 300 crore gross collection of the movie. The actor said he feels happy and proud about the response received by the film.However, Fahadh Faasil clarified that the reported gross figure should not be confused with the amount received by individual members of the team. He said he would not personally receive even half of the Rs 300 crore being discussed.The actor also emphasized that the film’s success should be viewed as a collective achievement. He credited the people who worked with him on the project rather than considering the result his individual accomplishment.“None of us will get even half of this Rs 300 crore that they are talking about. That is the gross collection. Anyway, the fact that ‘Bethlehem’ has been a success is something that makes me very happy and proud. It is not just me. There is Girish, Shyam and Dileesh. I see this as a collective success of all of us. I don’t see it as my success alone,” Fahadh Faasil said in an interview with Cue Studio.
Fahadh Faasil names his favorite scene
While discussing the film, Fahadh Faasil also revealed the sequence that stood out most for him. He picked the re-creation scene involving a photograph of Mamitha Baiju‘s character Ashley.The actor said the sequence had a strong impact on him when he watched it. He also pointed out that this type of technique has not been used frequently in movies.“In ‘Bethlehem’, the re-creation scene based on Mamitha’s photograph is my favorite. It worked tremendously for me when I saw it. Such techniques have not been used much in films. I liked it a lot,” Fahadh Faasil said.
‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ becomes an Onam success
‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ arrived in theaters as an Onam release and went on to register a strong response from Malayalam movie audiences. The film surpassed the collections of the other Onam releases ‘Khalifa’, and ‘I’m Game’.Film has Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju in the lead. Sangeeth Prathap, Suresh Krishna, Meenakshi Raveendran, Vinay Forrt and Shyam Mohan also appear in important roles. After its successful theatrical run, ‘Bethlehem Kudumba Unit’ has now begun streaming.
