Released on September 10, the Mathimaran Pugazhendhi directorial has continued to attract audiences even after completing 25 days in theatres. The production house has now celebrated the latest figure as a major victory for the film and Soori.

Sharing the official update, the team called it the “Biggest Blockbuster of the Year” and said the celebrations are getting bigger. “The Biggest Blockbuster of the Year, Mandaadi, has crossed Rs 100+ Crores Gross in Tamil Nadu, while the Worldwide Gross has surpassed Rs 150+ Crores!” the makers stated. They also confirmed that the film is still running successfully in theatres, making the achievement even more significant.

Suriya watched the film in a theatre on its 23rd day and highlighted the audience response during the show. “Though I was late to watch the film, I got the opportunity to watch it on the 23rd day amidst the cheers, whistles and applause of the audience. You have written it wonderfully. I am very happy for you,” Suriya said in his message to the director.With ‘Mandaadi’ now beyond Rs 150 crore worldwide and Rs 100 crore in Tamil Nadu, the film’s theatrical run has turned into a memorable commercial chapter for Soori.
