Malayalam actor Naslen is set to make his Tamil debut with Suriya‘s upcoming film ‘Scene’. Directed by Jithu Madhavan, the film is scheduled to release in theatres on November 6. The actor has already received a warm welcome from Tamil audiences, even before the film’s release. His speech at the film’s recent event in Chennai became one of the evening’s highlights. Naslen shared how he worked with Suriya, the affection he got from the team, and the lessons he learnt while shooting the movie.
Naslen thanks Tamil fans and shares his excitement about ‘Scene’
Speaking at the ‘Scene’ event, Naslen became emotional while discussing the response to his first Tamil film. He said, “I haven’t acted in any Tamil film before this. This is my first Tamil film, but you have already given me so much love. It feels very emotional. The film is releasing on November 6, and I hope you continue to show me the same love after watching it.” He also spoke about his love for Tamil food and added, “I like Pongal among Tamil Nadu’s food items.” His simple words received a warm response from the audience. The actor also apologised for his Tamil, saying that he was still learning the language.
Naslen praises Suriya’s hard work and kindness during ‘Scene’ shooting
Naslen also shared a special memory from the film’s shooting and spoke about Suriya’s kindness towards him. He said, “Every day during the shoot, Suriya sir would send me food in his lunch box for both lunch and dinner. His love was also part of that food.” The actor further praised Suriya’s dedication to his work. “One thing I learned from Suriya sir is that he is a very hardworking person. He is interested in everything he does,” Naslen said. He added that Suriya’s attitude towards work left a strong impression on him.
Naslen says Suriya’s dedication inspires young actors
Talking about the shooting schedule, Naslen revealed that the team often worked from 6 pm to 6 am. Though it was an exhausting schedule, Suriya kept himself fresh and continued with his other commitments as well. Naslen said, “Once the shooting is over, even though we will be mentally exhausted, even then, he would be fresh and energetic.” He added that such dedication was inspiring for actors at the beginning of their careers. Moreover, Naslen also confessed that he was both nervous and happy being on screen with Suriya.
