Amidst the criticism from the audience and critics, the film received support from several industry voices. The latest to join the chorus of support is filmmaker Hemanth Rao, known for the ‘Sapta Saagaradaache Ello’ franchise, who took to X to praise the film’s ambition and performances.

Hemanth Rao specifically highlighted the film’s final act and Yash’s portrayal of the older version of his character, Raya. He wrote, “Storytelling is about convictions and being brave. As per Sacnilk, ‘Toxic’s India gross stands at Rs 264.80 crore, with India net collections at Rs 221.55 crore on Day 6. The worldwide gross has crossed Rs 304.05 crore.
