The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has started the registration and choice-filling process for JoSAA Counselling 2026, josaa.nic.in. As per the official communication, registration and choice filling for academic programmes under JoSAA 2026 are ongoing and are the only way for candidates to get a seat in an IIT through the centralised seat allocation process.Using their application number and password, candidates will be able to access counselling portal. June 10, 2026 is the deadline for locking choices. JEE Advanced 2026 website posted a notification at 4:45 pm stating that candidates can now register and submit their preferred choices of institutes and courses via the JoSAA portal.

- Click on “Online Registration and Choice Filling for JoSAA 2026” under the Candidate Activity Board.
- Log in using the application number, password, and captcha code.
- Select preferred institutes and academic programmes.
- Lock the choices before the deadline.
- Submit the form and download the confirmation page.
