Akhil Akkineni‘s ‘Lenin’ witnessed a healthy improvement at the box office on its second Saturday. After a comparatively slow start to the second week the action drama bounced back with a significant rise in collections.According to Sacnilk, the film collected an estimated Rs 2.79 crore net in India on Day 9. This represents a 69.1% increase compared to its Day 8 earnings of Rs 1.65 crore.
Worldwide collection crosses Rs 56 crore
‘Lenin’ has taken its total India net collection to Rs 41.09 crore. Its India gross collection now stands at Rs 47.15 crore.‘Lenin’ has earned Rs 9.55 crore in overseas gross collections so far. As a result, the film’s worldwide gross collection has reached Rs 56.70 crore after nine days in theatres.Occupancy improves across all major shows‘Lenin’ was screened in 1,795 shows across India on its ninth day. The film registered an overall Telugu occupancy of 28.36%.The occupancy remained 20.38% during the morning shows. It improved to 30.92% in the afternoon. Evening shows recorded 29.46%, while the highest attendance came during the night shows with 32.15% occupancy.
A rural action drama inspired by the Mahabharata

As he grows older he falls in love with Bharathi, but his life soon takes an unexpected turn.The story begins as a village-based drama before gradually transforming into a tale of betrayal, revenge and hidden motives. The narrative is inspired by the Mahabharata, while the annual Draupadi festival forms an important backdrop to the events in the film.The film has received appreciation for Akhil Akkineni’s performance.
