Madonna has officially kicked off the rollout for her upcoming album ‘Confessions II’ with a short film, directed by Torso.Titled ‘Confessions II – The Film’, the 13-minute clip was released online on her official YouTube handle. The video reportedly serves as an accompaniment to the first five tracks from the forthcoming album.The film quickly hit the top trends on social media with fans buzzing over the film’s star-studded cast featuring actors, supermodels, singers and even footballers, coming together for the film. Among the notable names featured in the project are actors Benedict Cumberbatch, Richard E. Grant, Julia Garner, Gwendoline Christie, along a host of other personalities like Sabrina Carpenter, Kate Moss, Cole Palmer and Feid.The film features Madonna performing while dancing with various guest stars. One of its standout sequences takes place during the song ‘Danceteria’, where the singer features alongside Debi Mazar, Kate Moss, Benedict Cumberbatch and Richard E. Grant, all of whom share the screen with her.Another much-talked-about moment sees Sabrina Carpenter join Madonna in a performance segment, revisiting their Coachella set earlier this year.Julia Garner, who is set to play Madonna in an upcoming biopic, also features prominently in the video.
