Ramayana‘, one of the most anticipated films of the decade, is set to release in two parts across Diwali 2026 and 2027. Made on a massive budget of Rs 4,000 crore, the mythological epic stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in lead roles. As excitement builds around the project, reports have now surfaced detailing how much each actor is reportedly charging for their part in the film.

Ranbir Kapoor tops the list

According to a report by India.com, Ranbir Kapoor is the highest-paid actor in ‘Ramayana’, reportedly charging Rs 75 crore for each part, taking his total remuneration to Rs 150 crore across both films. Kannada superstar Yash, who plays Ravana and also co-produces the project, is said to be charging Rs 50 crore per instalment, amounting to Rs 100 crore overall.

Sai Pallavi, Ravie Dubey and Sunny Deol‘s fees

Sai Pallavi, who plays Goddess Sita, is reportedly being paid Rs 6 crore per part, bringing her total fee to Rs 12 crore. Television star Ravie Dubey, taking on one of his biggest film roles as Lakshman, has reportedly charged Rs 10 crore per instalment, earning Rs 20 crore in total. Sunny Deol, cast as Lord Hanuman, is said to be charging Rs 20 crore per part, totalling Rs 40 crore, though his look from the film is yet to be unveiled.

Vivek Oberoi waives his fee

In one of the more surprising developments, Vivek Oberoi, who plays Vidyutjihva, has reportedly chosen not to charge any fee for the Nitesh Tiwari directorial, opting instead to contribute to the project. Veteran actor Arun Govil, best remembered as Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s television series, returns to the epic as King Dashrath. His remuneration has not been disclosed as of now.The film’s extensive cast also includes Lara Dutta, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Shobana and Faisal Malik in pivotal roles, though details of their fees remain undisclosed.
