Actor and BJP MP Ravi Kishan has once again found himself at the centre of online criticism following one of his interviews. During an interview, the ‘Dhamaal 4’ actor opened up about the poverty he experienced in his early years and how those struggles continue to influence his mindset even today. Recalling his struggles in life and beginnings in career, he shared that despite his success, he still hesitates to order expensive meals or even send his clothes for laundry while staying at 7-star hotels. He also shared that the memories of financial hardship have never left him.

In a video clip from the interview with Shubhankar Mishra, Ravi Kishan said, “I have seen such poverty that even now, when I go to a 7-star hotel, I don’t order good food. Whether it is from the production budget or my own money or even if I have gone for the publicity of my political party.”He further went on to add, “Till date I only order a simple khichdi. I even hesitate to give my clothes to the laundry. I think I’ll wash them when I go home, be it Gorakhpur, Delhi, or Mumbai. So that poverty is still there in my mind.”
