Director Ahmed Khan recently gave fans a tour of his lavish Mumbai home, which features stunning Versace-themed decor, antiques from Turkey, MF Husain paintings, and an impressive car collection including a Rs 3 crore Batmobile. His next film, Welcome To The Jungle, hits cinemas on June 26.

Ahmed Khan, the director who is waiting for his film ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ starring Akshay Kumar to hit theatres, lives a very grand and lavish life in his Mumbai home. He stays with his wife Shaira Ahmed Khan and their two sons Azaan and Subhaan. Ahmed recently took fans on a tour of his beautiful home, and it left everyone speechless. The house has stunning Versace-themed decor and even has a real Batmobile worth around Rs 3 crore parked inside, making it look like a dream home that most people can only imagine.Antiques from Turkey and gifts from Disneyland at the entranceAccording to Pinkvilla, Ahmed has beautiful antique items that were brought all the way from Turkey. One of the wall hangings is very special to the family as it represents them, while the base of a centre table is said to be 4,000 years old. The entrance also had some fun gifts that the family got for their kids from Disneyland and Universal Studios, kept at different places. A big and pretty chandelier was also placed near the entrance, right before the door leading to the dining room.

Award shelf, MF Husain painting and a Route 66 gas station in the dining roomThe dining section of Ahmed’s home was equally impressive, where he has his award shelf lined with numerous honours collected over his three-decade long journey in the film industry. The dining room followed a sleek black and gold theme, complemented by a stylish white and gold dining table. Adding a fun and quirky touch to the space was a miniature retro red gas station, known as Route 66 US, which the family had personally picked up from the United States. The room further featured a striking large horse painting by the legendary late artist M. F. Husain, as well as a gorgeous Chinese porcelain piece adorned with beautiful handwork.

Living area is a tributeThe living area of Ahmed’s home is a true tribute to the luxury brand, with every little detail from the cushion covers and wallpapers to the carpets and lamps reflecting the iconic brand’s signature style. Talking about his wife’s love for the brand, Ahmed laughingly shared, “My wife is a Versace fan, and why is that, even I don’t know. I just know that whenever anything Versace is available, she buys them. She has technically done the house in a very simple manner. It is not gothic, it’s basic.”Colourful living area and a Versace-themed bedroomThe living area also had another stunning horse painting by MF Hussain, which was gifted to Ahmed by his wife Shaira Khan. The space was full of vibrant and colourful elements, including bright yellow and red cushions, a blue almirah, and many more eye-catching pieces that added life to the room. Ahmed then took fans into his bedroom, which once again stayed true to the Versace theme, this time in a rich golden-black colour scheme. The bedroom had several large mirrors adorning the walls, and a gorgeous walk-in closet filled with an enviable collection of luxury branded clothes and footwear.

Ahmed Khan’s jaw-dropping car collectionThe filmmaker also has a jaw-dropping collection of cars that would leave any automobile lover green with envy. He kicked things off by showing off his son Subhaan’s pride and joy, a mid-engined roadster loaded with several impressive customisations. Ahmed also revealed that he had surprised his wife with a swanky Maybach, saying, “It’s a very comfortable car, it only has four seats. She loves this car.” When it comes to his own choice of ride, Ahmed prefers to cruise around in his G-Wagon, which has been given special modifications sourced all the way from the UK.

The Rs 3 crore Batmobile is the star of the showThe biggest showstopper in Ahmed Khan’s car collection was his very own Batmobile, a iconic and legendary car that took everyone’s breath away. The original 1989 Batmobile, which was actually driven by actor Michael Keaton in the Batman film, is worth around Rs 12.5 crore. However, the replica that Ahmed owns costs somewhere between Rs 1.5 to 5 crore, depending on how it is built and what engine it has. The long and stunning car looked very close to the real thing, with gills, fins, and smoke-producing burners that made it look exactly like the famous Batman car from the movie.Ahmed Khan’s next film ‘Welcome To The Jungle’Coming to Ahmed Khan’s next big project, ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ is all set to arrive in cinemas on June 26.
