Salman Khan’s ‘Maatrubhumi’ was originally set to hit theatres in April this year (2026), but it was pushed and has yet to release. Several reports have suggested that the delay came after the Ministry of Defence and the Information and Broadcasting (I&B) Ministry flagged concerns over the film’s strongly anti-China stance. A few days ago, however, it was reported that the I&B Ministry had cleared the Apoorva Lakhia-directed film with an NOC. While a release date for ‘Maatrubhumi’ is still awaited, Salman shared a song from the film, titled ‘Jai Hind’, on the occasion of Dussehra.
