Speaking to Hindustan Times, Sharvari said, “It’s still a pinch-me moment. We are in our fifth week in theatres, if I’m not mistaken. That’s a really long run, especially today.” She admitted the film’s success feels sweeter because it wasn’t driven by hype but by genuine audience response.She added, “You can never predict how deeply a film will connect. This kind of organic love and word of mouth is something you can’t ask for. It has to come from the audience. I’m just really grateful that the film resonated with them. There’s nothing more rewarding.”The initial days after release were tense, as the team watched months of hard work play out at the box office. But Sharvari chose to stay hopeful. “I have always been a positive person,” she said. “I genuinely believed this film would find its audience. Call it intuition or just a gut feeling, but something in my heart kept saying, kuch toh accha hoga (something good will happen).”Her birthday, falling just two days after the release, added to her sense that things would work out. Today, fans have started calling her “Jia,” the character she played in the film, a shift she considers one of the biggest compliments an actor can receive.

Despite her recent successes, Sharvari said that she isn’t chasing safe choices. The actress shared, “I love a good challenge.” She went on to add, “The dream is to live different lives through different characters and keep learning new skills. I had to prove my versatility to survive in this industry. The more varied my work is, the more directors and producers are willing to imagine me in new roles.”She further shared that recognition, for her, goes beyond numbers. Sharvari said, “I want to be an actor you cannot predict. I want to be remembered for my characters. I hope people remember who I played more than they remember how much the film earned.”Asked how she’d want her chapter written in a coffee-table book on this generation of Bollywood stars, she laughed and said, “I hope it says, ‘One of the best actresses of her generation.’ That’s been my dream ever since I decided to become an actor.”

On the work front, Sharvari is currently shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar‘s next, co-starring Ahaan Panday. The title and the release date of the movie are yet to be announced.The actress was last seen in Shiv Rawail‘s ‘Alpha’, alongside Alia Bhatt. The movie also featured Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor in key roles. It was released in theatres on July 3, 2026. On the other hand, ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’, directed by Imtiaz Ali, arrived in cinemas on June 12, 2026.
