The streamer also spoke about being swatted, police coming to his home and his family getting caught up in similar situations. He said these experiences changed how he sees online threats.

Destiny described one scary incident that he said still feels hard to believe. According to the Kick streamer, a “whole bunch of people” were outside his apartment while pointing rifles at him.He said the people were asking if his son was inside the apartment. They also asked him if he had any firearms inside his home.Destiny called it an “unreal experience” and explained that the situation was especially frightening because he understood how serious firearms could be.The streamer made these comments while talking about online threats and harassment. He appeared frustrated by people discussing these things as if they were events that might happen in the future.For Destiny, however, these situations are not just possible dangers. He said he has already experienced serious incidents involving his home and family.

He said this was one reason why threats against his family affect him so strongly.The streamer also described waking up in the middle of the night with his hands raised because he believed he was being targeted. He called it “the craziest” feeling he had ever experienced.Destiny said the problems did not only affect him. He also spoke about his mother, who he said has Alzheimer’s. According to the streamer, his mother once told him that police had bomb-swept her house.These experiences, Destiny said, have happened to him and his family in many different ways. Because of this, he said he has become resentful toward parts of the online political space.Near the end of the discussion, Destiny said he sometimes feels he is not treated “as a human.” He admitted that he does not usually show this side of himself, but said the pressure from these experiences has been difficult to deal with.For Destiny, the discussion was about more than possible online threats.
