The couple celebrated the milestone with their children and close family members, including Suriya’s younger sister and playback singer Brindha Sivakumar. Brindha Sivakumar took to Instagram to share pictures from Suriya and Jyotika’s 20th anniversary celebrations. The photographs feature the couple with their children, Diya and Dev, as well as Suriya’s brother Karthi, his wife Ranjani Chinnaswamy, Brindha, her husband Sivakumar and other family members. Alongside the pictures, Brindha described the celebrations as a special experience and praised the meticulous planning that went into the event.

Suriya and Jyotika celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary on September 11. The couple renewed their wedding vows at a castle in Scotland and later hosted a celebration on a yacht for their family and loved ones. Suriya and Jyotika got married on September 11, 2006, in Chennai after dating for several years. The two actors first met while shooting for ‘Poovellam Kettuppar’ in 1999 and later fell in love while working together on ‘Kaakha Kaakha’ in 2003. They have two children, Diya and Dev, born in 2006 and 2010, respectively.
